Enjoy Manistee County's Annual Fair

August 21-25, 2018

The Manistee County Fair welcomes you each August! Located at the Onekama Fairgrounds along Portage Lake on M-22, the fair offers rides, food, entertainment, and 4-H exhibitions.

With fun offered on the midway, grandstand shows, and even car races, the Manistee County Fair has something for everyone!

Fair admission is generally $3, five and under free, unless otherwise noted.

MONDAY, AUGUST 20
Entry Day for all exhibits and animals, 10am-7pm.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 21--SHOW DAY
Free Admission to the Fair.
Swine Judging, 8am.
Open Class Judging, 8:30am-1pm, Pavilion & 4-H Exhibits-Merchant Building.
Merchant Building, noon-10pm.
Sheep Judging, 2pm.
Cattle Judging, 4pm.
Goat Judging, 6pm.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 22---KIDS DAY
$5.00 wristbands all day!
Rabbit Judging, 8am.
Merchant Building, noon-10pm.
Poultry/Bird Judging, 1pm.
Dynamite the Clown, Face Painting and other kid activities, 2-6pm, Merchant Building.
Schmidt Amusements Open, 2-10pm.
Youth Exhibit Area --- 4-H Youth Live Performance Event, 5pm.
Horse Pull, 7pm, Grandstand. Ages 13 & up $5 admission; 12 & under free.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 23
$3.00 Gate Admission.
Merchant Building, noon-10pm.
Pie Baking Contest, 1:30pm.
Schmidt Amusements Open, 2pm-10pm. Buy 2 wristbands at $20 each and get one free!
4-H large and small animal auction, 5:30pm
Truck/Tractor Pull, 7pm, Grandstand. Ages 13 & up, $12; 6-12 $5; 5 and under free.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 24
$3.00 Gate Admission.
Photo Opportunity Day, 10am, large animal barn. For all Best of Show and 1st place winners.
Merchant Building, noon-10pm.
Schmidt Amusements Open, 1pm-11pm.
4-H Companion Animal Interviews, 6pm, Companion animal station in Merchant building.
TNT King of the Track Bump-N-Run/Off Road Derby, 7pm, Grandstand. Ages 13 & up $12; 6-12 $5; 5 and under free. Pit Pass $20.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 25
Kid's Day--Free bikes to be given away. Drawing begins at 3pm. Register at Old Heifer Booth in the Merchant Building.
Merchant Building, noon-10pm.
Schmidt Amusements Open, noon-11pm. All day wristbands $20. Noon-5pm, wristbands $12.
Kid Activities, 2pm-6pm, Merchant Building.
TNT Night of Smashing--Powerwheels, Mini Van Demo Derby, Compact Front Wheel Drive Demo Derby and Big Car Stock Demo Derby, 7pm, Grandstand. Ages 13 & up, $12; 6-12 $5; 5 & under free. Pit Pass $20.
